Woke up this day with a head ache. why on this sunny day that aint going to last long. want to get out of this apartment for a powerwalk but iam to tired and lazy for that. It was a long night. i actually was up till 4 watching biggest loser and a documentatry about SLAVERY here in Sweden. Yepp. SLAVERY!!! A company in Sweden promises people in Cameroon good salary(18 000sek/month) if they work for them. Imagine yourself leaving your whole family for 6 months and on top of that you’ve saved a lot of money(even applied for a loan) to get to Sweden and all you have in your heart/mind im doing this for my family, make a better living when you get back to Africa. Well these people are still here and haven’t recieve their salary and have no home. Some sleep at people’s couches, others on the trams. They can’t travel home because they have no money and they are ashemed to go back empty handed. The man who hired the cameroons have been very mean, threating some of them by saying he will burn their houses in cameroon and hurt their families. I deeply pray that this man will repent and admit what he did was wrong so everyone can be pleased and continue to live a happy life. We really live in a cruel world. To see this man from Cameroon crying like a child because he can not do a thing, he is STUCKED. He said something that really touced me. -Everday I see people going somewhere to something, but as for me, I just walk and walk, nothing happens… It was heartbreaking for me to see. what can i do? I really hope that they will get every penny as agreed(according to the contract). This is pure slavery. If Sweden can’t solve this case, it would be shameful. I can’t hardly wait to see where this leads.
